My dad just bought a pontoon boat with a 2004 60 hp merc 4 stroke. The motor runs mint but the overheat alarm keeping going off. We replaced the waterpump/impeller and that did not help. It is pumping water. Next he replaced the thermostay and it is still overheating. Running out of ideas. Any thoughts?
