70hp no spark

So here is the story
Bought a 70 hp merc knowing it had a issue but i have another one that has a bad cylinder so i switched the stator coil and electrical box onto the motor i just bought but still no spark where else should i look and what readings should i be seeing from the stator?

The only thing i didnt replace was the small box beside the big box with the wires going to the coils, I did replace that one,i think it is the rectifier would that cause no spark?

I think I now know the problem how do I by pass the teather switch?
