My outboard tank got damaged so I've been searching for a replacement. I didn't realize it would be so difficult to just purchase the same Quicksilver tank I had. I believe I would need to add a longer line and a primer bulb to this tank Mfg # 8M0054600.
Or could I get away with the simpler tank Mfg # 88WM101-2 and just add a new fuel line? Is the Mercury's Fuel Demand Valve a must have? Both tanks are EPA CFR 40.
