I have a 1999 75 hp Merc and need a flywheel for it (the teeth on the ring gear are stripped) I purchased a used one from a salvage dealer. the number stamped on it is 261-9007-C2 This apparently matches with the 878226T10 part number that Mercury lists for this year and model. My old flywheel is stamped 261-9007-C3 and it has a tapered center hole that is approx. 1 5/16 inch inside diameter at the outer edge. The 261-9007-C2 is approx. 1 1/8 inch.
