Mercury 200 V6 - 1986 Oil Pump and plugs

Hi Everyone.

I have a 200Hp V6 1986 on my boat.

I have just disconectet the oil pump, is the right way to do it to remove the oilpump and Axel and make a blockoff plate? ( That is my idea, just need to be sure )

Im changing the plugs from Champion L78V - My alternative says NGK BUHW-2 what do you Guys think?

You need the block off kit as it keep the bushing in place if it overheats....and the plugs need to be a NGK BU8H
