The primer bulb is a manual pump.-----It is used to fill the carburetors on marine motors.----That saves the starter motor or your arms and shoulders from doing this.------The bulb must go firm after several pumps.-----If not there is something wrong or there are leaks.
thanks guys, i rebuilt the carb and my kicker has never ran better. can get down to 0.7 mph for trolling. wife and i fished saginaw bay on xmas day. boxed 13 walleyes. i tried to upload the pics, but it said failed upload.
