1982 Mercury 50 HP Trigger Test

Hello, how do I test the trigger on a 1982 Mercury 50? There's no spark on cylinders 3 and 4. I have tried swapping the coil packs and switching stator wires but the problem remains the same. Will swapping the trigger wires from cylinders 1 to 3 and from 2 to 4 on the switch box verify anything? Thanks in advance for the help!

Swapping the trigger wires at the switch box will help determine if the trigger is faulty. In case anyone else was wondering. I couldn't wait for a response. If someone else tries this method just be sure you do not try to start the engine. I believe it changes the firing order.
