1. Do I have to remove the carbs to remove clean the screens.
If they and the bowls were clean would you leave them alone' it's been years?

2. Any other fuel filter anywhere.
3. I suppose you have to remove the hole front/face plate plate and wiring to remove carbs for rebuilding?
--basic steps to get them out of there appreciated, I'm sure I can rebuild them but want to get them out easy as possible.

4. What RPM is this motor at when at max advance?
5. firing order?

Hi there, you forgot to mention what year and engine model you are working on. Posting the engine serial number sometimes helps as well.

Your fuel screens should be under the brass elbows and tee in the carb covers. You should have a fuel screen under the plastic cup on the fuel pump. Trace the fuel line from the quick connection under the wrap cowl to the fuel pump. Remove the stainless phillips-head screw, the cap and clean the screen.

Carb covers come off as an assembly. It is best to remove the wrap cowl and top cover. Now disconnect the electrical, remove the 6 bolts on the cowl support, and the three nuts on the top of the cowl support. Now remove the starter to get to the carbs.
