Need Longer Control Wiring for 1985 Mercury 75 HP

Okay, you guys got me through some rebuild issues, never needed to post too much because all the info is already here. But I need some help. After i moved my CC forward my control box wiring harness is too short. Any ideas on where I can get one, or do I have to lengthen the one I have?
Mercury 1985 75 HP Ser 0A169432 Model 1075625 ELPT

Also, is the OEM side mount Control Box reversible? I want to side mount on the starboard side of my console not port.

Appreciate any help and suggestions.

I do not know if an extension harness is available, but it is likely

It would not be hard to lengthen the harness you already have. Cut the harness a foot from the control. Crimp and solder butt connectors on the both ends of the harness. Add some wires to lengthen the harness. Pull the shrink tube over the splices. Tape the wires into a harness or use some commercial wire covers, or both.
