Where does the hose at left arrow attach? The other end goes into a T at the arrow below. The T goes up (into carb I think) and over to the other down arrow on the block. The hose was laying in the bottom. The end of the hose is not expanded as if it was on fitting so I think maybe it just lays there? A vent or something?
I flexed it up behind the nut for visibility.
I was not having any issues, but fogging the engine for winter and saw the hose laying there. I don't remember an open hose previously.

I think I found where it goes. There was another fitting on the top cylinder similar to the one pictured on the bottom right. I plugged it on there. I think it is the pulse for the fuel pump in the carb.

I do not believe this motor has a pulse hose for the fuel pump.---That is done by a passage way on the carburetor flange.

I don't know the purpose then. I just connected it up. Motor is winterized for the season. I'll see next spring how it runs.
