It's weird. Dealer cannot figure it out either. He just wants to start replacing parts.
Motor runs great until I shut it off. When I am able to restart it, it goes into safe mode. The time running can be 30 min or 6 hours. Doesn't matter. It acts up when I turn it off to go pee, clean fish, take a nap, etc....and then try to restart. If left alone for a couple hours, then it starts fine again.
There are no indications of heat problems.
It pees fine and the high pressure fuel pump cooler is clear.
I have an external fuel/water separator.
I have changed the internal fuel filters.
The bulb primes nicely.
The regular fuel pump is in good shape.
All seals look good.
There is no garbage in the high pressure fuel pump bowl.
The are no alarms.
When hooked up to dealers computer, there are no problems/codes.
