Good afternoon everyone, over the 4th of July weekend we too out our 94 bryant 180 with a 4.3lx. Went to launch on Saturday and cranked and cranked with no start. We smelled no gas so assumed something along the fuel line system. We took it to a the local repair shop down the road and they started by testing spark and everything was good there. They squirted gas into the carb and it started right up perfectly. Next they removed fuel inlet to the carb and cranked to see if that was squirting any fuel and got nothing. They next tested the fuel pump and it checked out just fine. They next went to the fuel filter and replaced it and put a hand priming bulb on the fuel like and checked for pump. The mechanic said it was very hard to pump the hand primer at first and then loosened up and squirted fuel fine. Reinstalled everything and she started right up and ran the rest of the day and night with zero issues even after numerous stops and restarts after anchored for a while. So we assumed all was well. The next morning we go to launch and its started for about 2 second and then died and we cranked and cranked again and once again got no fuel smell and no start. So im leaning towards a faulty anti siphon valve or something between the fuel tank and fuel filter. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to help solve our problem? Thanks for any help

Since the mechanic said nothing about a dirty filter, the anti-siphon vale is where it would check.
