Carb replacement

I have a 1990 Sundancer 250 with a 7.4 motor and her. I was throwing around the matter of replacing my carburetor with an aftermarket one. Does anybody know of a good replacement for the Quadra jet carb?

The Edelbrock 1409 is marine rated and is easy to set up. It's the standard. But if you go over to OSO there are lots of experienced folks who work over the big blocks to get all the ponies that are there to be had.

The 1409 is a 600CFM carb.
Not sure what the model # is for the 750.......might be a 1410?

The Edelbrock is also a square bore carb, while your Q-Jet is a spreadbore. You may need an adapter if you go that route.
