4.3 heat exchangers?

Ive been looking at them and found different type's.looking for a full system.Would i have to change thermostat?
And maybe diagrams? Ive search on here but not much results.

How old is your engine and have you already been using it in salt water?

But how old is the block? You shouldn't switch to closed cooling after much time on a block, especially if it was in the brine.

Call up San Juan Engineering in Washington and see what they have to say. A full system might be tough to do unless you go to an engine mounted water pump and pull thru the hull.
