Hello I just replaced the motor in my 1986 sea ray Seville, and I am wondering where the bell housing sits on the transome, there are two long bolts, there is a spacer maybe 1" thick and a washer, wash is up top then spacer, my question is should there be anything between the transome and the bell housing ? Or does is just sit on the transome? Thank you

all depends on what type of rear motor mount was used. most use a doublewound spring and a fiber/rubber washer.Without the correct components engine alignment will be impossible.
