4.3 TKS merc 2 barrel to 4 barrel conversion

I have a question, I currently have a 4.3 TKS merc ( 2BBL carb). What would be involved in changing it to a 4bbl? Obviously I will need to change the carburetor, what else has to be changed out? FYI, I am just curious not necessarily going to do this as the motor is still under warranty. Would I gain much horse power and how much fuel would I lose if any?

Ayuh,...... Ya need a carb, manifold, 'n linkages,....

Fuel mileage won't vary much, so long as ya ain't runnin' Wot,....

Probably 20 hp gain, mostly felt at mid-range, 'n top end,....

Would this be something I could do. I have some ability but not huge, just enough to get into trouble. I just found this post
