alpha 1 gen 2 lower drive shaft removal

i am having trouble getting the cone bearing cover under the water pump off so i can remove the drive shaft. will it pull straight off or does it screw off. thanks

the oil carrier simply pops up and off using 2 Phillips screwdrivers.the driveshaft does not just come out thru the opening

you question seems to be a bit beyond your ability .Why do you need to remove the driveshaft?
