just had the exhaust manifold welded (it had rusted two holes in the bottom where it had apparently sat). I re-installed it and ran it with no issues then stored it for a few months. After I brought it home and ran it again to check it before I hit the lake, I noticed water in the oil. Could it be from the exhaust manifold? This was not present before. Motor runs good. I don't want to do anything else until I check it out. Any suggestions?

3rd agree on replacing it.

this was mine from a '75 165 L6 engine.

note the water running down the exhaust runner, by the heat riser tube for the choke.
i filled the manifold with water on the water side then left it overnight. next morning, no water in the water jacket but the exhaust runner was full. the manifold had rusted from the inside out. no welding would repair this. it was replaced.
my manifold also had rust on the outside, just hadn't gone through yet. except for the inside, which had rusted through...
