My boat is powered by a 2005 5.0 Merc cruiser engine and it is used in salt water. It is stored in dry rack storage and the marina has informed me that I am responsible for any damage to the boat below as a result of leaking rusty water. Any good fixes to this problem

sounds like it was not winterized and the block or manifolds have cracked.

If the rusty water is dripping out of the drive, that is totally normal.

If it's leaking out of the block and out through the transom drain plug, then sure am sorry about a cracked block. Install the drain plug and fix the engine later.

If it's leaking out the prop, get a canvas or plastic bag, put some rags in it and tie it on the prop and outdrive. May even be able to tie a bucket under the drive if you can see where the drip is coming from

CLR or kaboom will help remove rust marks from the boat below
