350 Magnum Issue..??

Just installed a 1994 Magnum and ran it today. Hasn't been run in a boat for a couple of months - just in the shop. Getting some smoke from the port side valve cover. Doesn't smell like it's burning.

Cause for concern?

Ayuh,.... That's the crank case Vent, yer gonna see air/ fume/ smoke movement,....

What colour is this 'smoke'? It might just be a little condensation boiling off.

It's white. Noticed it when I was giving her hell...way out at 4800.

I'm just probably being paranoid. I'm gonna run it again tomorrow and peek around some more.

I guess with this bigger power plant, I'm guilty of blowing off steam, Chris. Probably wasn't seeing exactly where it was coming from with the wind swirling. Just looked odd to me (read "paranoid")

BTW - Your video on outdrive install made it a breeze. I did all but swing the engine in ALONE. Piece of cake
