head gasket for mercruiser 165hp

i have a early 80's mercruiser 165 hp. serial number is A408676. I am wanting to know if i can get the head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket and intake manifold gasket from a napa or autozone. Anyone have a part number??

do you have the 3.7 liter 4-cylinder or the inline 6?

Napa will carry marine gaskets

napa, carquest sell sierra get the sierra part number from the sierra online catalog and they should be able to order it.

6 cyl yes, 4 cyl exhaust and intake yes, head gasket no, go with OEM.

head gasket should be for the 250 cu in 6 cylinder GM motor. intake/exaust manifold can use the one piece header gasket

You can get it from iBoats and they have a special 2 day delivery for $2 more. That probably satisfies the time constraints better than any where else.

Doc - he has the 4 cylinder - not the straight six. So that FelPro number is incorrect as well.

how did I miss that?????????? Fel-Pro FEL-1419 Ford 460 cu.in. motor, also the valve cover gasket, pushrods, rockers.
intake manifold is marine specific to that motor

no, the 470/488 motor is mercs bastard child. nothing on it matches to a GM inline 6 cylinder

Nope,... Ya can't used 6 cylinder gaskets on a 4 cylinder motor,....

The 470 has Never been an automotive motor, Ever,....

Get OEM 27-13709 https://www.mercruiserparts.com/show...e.asp?pn=13709 it would be unwise to use an aftermarket auto type head gasket (sold here and elsewhere) they are unsuitable for the 470 and are prone to failure.
