Where to find a wiring diagram for older mercruiser 165 hp

I picked up a project boat to repair and resell. The wires are all undone around the 165 hp inline 6 cyl motor. I have a "SELOC MERCRUISER STERN DRIVE TYPE 1, ...... 1964-91" The wiring diagram for the 165 is for serial number 3774865 and higher. My serial number is 3438515. Is this serial number is for a 1977 motor ?. The hull id on this boat is SER7MO890778-18510261-8 What does that all say? What year is this boat? And what wiring diagram can I use to repair this old motor?

No idea what the hull year is, but that Engine serial number is from 1972.... Btw, seloc is a fire-starter, kneepad, hand wipe, but never a manual... Try HERE
