4.3 shutter part number verification (with pics)

original engine SN: L332123 replaced with: 2004 Mercruiser 4.3L 225hp 4bbl Quicksilver repower SN: 90004747 (#807736R11 / 03252004)
Alpha 1 Gen II - Transom: 0L517680 Drive: 0L192679 1.62 R (1.81R scratched on top) original drive may have been SN: L40356

Just finished the 1-piece exhaust conversion and need new shutters. I found a number of posts (thanks achris), but wanted to verify because this is a repower, so the pipe is likely older than the current engine.

I ordered the one on the right (#807166A1). they are too small.
I believe the replacement part for the one on the left is actually #807166A2.

When you changed out your 1-piece to 2, did you change out the exhaust Y-pipe? or did you buy the kit to make it work like first talked about in this thread.

There is a small difference in sizes between the two Y pipe exhaust systems. I don't recall the exact specifications though. But you just found one of them.

807166A2 was used in the 1-piece and 807166A1 was used in the 2-piece.

Since you started out with the 1-piece from new, you will still have the 1-piece Y-pipe "exhaust system".

I just changed both my shutters, I have the 4.3lx. I originally bought the 807166A1.....and those were to small so I went back and got the 807166A2 and they fit perfect.
