I am ordering up some parts to re assemble my 1990 Sea Ray's Bravo 1 transom housing #0D370912 Drive #0D403519 (it is stamped on the drive as well as the sticker on the cover). What is confusing me is, in the Merc parts catalogs I have found 2 different washers listed to go between the bell housing and the gimbal ring at the hinge pins. Washer # 12-41721 is listed as # 4 on the gimbal ring and steering lever page and #12-806241 listed as # 1A on the bell housing page? The description of both is :Washer (used with trim senders). The ones that came off are some kind of fiber washer, they are 0.03" thick and one is cracked.

Which do I need to order??? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. After I posted this I did some more research and found exactly what you said. Some of the housing photos I saw on ebay are machined to accept that other washer. Are they newer mine are not. Was going to post my finding today but life was busy.
