Spark Plug Test ?

I have a question . I have a 8 Cylinder engine and i want to find out how to know if all 8 spark plugs are giving spark that way I know if all 8 cylinders are getting spark . Please let me know how i can find this out . Thanks

With the engine idling, pull each plug lead one at a time. You should hear the engine speed drop a little, and you may also heard the spark in the top of the lead as you pull it off...

Alternately, get a spark gap tester with 8 leads and plug that up and check all sparks at the same time...

And if you get bit during step one, replace the plug wires.

If the engine has been run for very long at all then the sparkplugs will show if they have been fired or not.

A timing light can also be used. Just clamp onto individual wires until you find the one that does not flash the light.
