Was fishing on St Lawrence River on a trip, power trim motor in my 1987 Alpha One gave up the ghost. Fortunately French Creek Marine in Clayton, NY had a motor. With NYS tax,, the $600 price tag gave me gas!! put it in,,,I refused to pay the $22 for a quart of Power Trim Oil,, grabbed a quart of $5 30W motor oil instead,, all they in the marine shop. Used that,, any problem with that????, or should I pump it out and put 10-30 in there.. thanks all!! looked on line,, ebay same motor was $450,, when your on the water and out of town,, expect to bend over!! it is what it is... thanks for the guidance on the oil...
