1988 mercruiser 5.7 thunderbolt IV ICM

This engine will start and run why you are starting the engine. But it will die when relising the key in to the run position. Any ideals?

I have power to the coil no mater if its in the run or start position.

Here's the correct troubleshooting chart. You need to run though each step, in the correct order. Then, and only then, will you know where the problem is.
