Belt Pulley configuration

I just bought a 1983 boat with a Mercruiser 305/5L V8 and what looks like a Alpha One Gen 1 sterndrive. I was able to unseize the engine (good compression) and need to install belts. The previous owner gave me 2 belts one a little larger than the other, but I can't find the belt diagram in my Repair manual, on the engine or on-line. There are double pulleys on the crankshaft and water pump. I am guessing the larger belt goes on the outer pulleys of the water pump/crankshaft/Power steering. The smaller belt goes on the inner pulleys of the crank shaft/water pump and alternator. Does this sound right?
