I have a 1991 Sea Rey 220cc with 350 Mag MerCruiser engine with Alpha 1 Outdrive. It has been in dry store for 2-years, been out of the country. I found it with the outdrive up in trail position, and dropped it down to drive position on the trailer. Two weeks later, I find a small amount of oil leaking from the starboard weep hole on bottom portion of outdrive. This is NOT the water intake, but a single weep hole to the front of the outdrive. Any ideas of where it is coming from and the maintenance required. It has never had any of the gaskets or seals replaced, other than an impeller 5-years back. Original owner.
Thanks,
Rick (Habusr71)

It would be really hard for trim oil to get in there. Time to pressure test the drive.

Well over due for a re-seal job, likely spots are the shiftshaft seal, the upper drieshaft seals, the water pump base seals. A pressure test will tell for sure.
