Power steering belt on a 1988 Mercruiser 4.3

I have a worn belt that jumps off of the pully when RPM's exceed 2000. How do I replace the belt? I do not see a tensioner. Do I have to loosten the power steering pump? Thanks.

Hi, and welcome. I have the same engine - you have to loosen the pump to replace/adjust the belt. Move the pump outwards until finger pressure, at the midpoint between pulleys, deflects the belt by 1/4" to 1/2"
