Re: Mercury Inboard on a 2004 Monterey edge

Thank you Don. Problem is no power was getting to trim motor, so we replaced fuses. Now, we bypassed switch on boat, and rewired to a new switch, boat still won't plane when we accelerate so we're now thinking the prop isn't sufficient. We just purchased this boat which has been sitting in dry dock for years. Has only 21 hours on it, but original prop was stolen and replaced - so perhaps the prop isn't correct? We're trying to find the specs on the boat to see what size prop it should have. Any other reason why it wouldn't plane on acceleration? Do you have specs?
