2000 Merc 7.4 mpi injector removal

Need to replace some injectors. I have the plenum off and can't quite figure out how to disconnect the fuel rail "plastic"? from the hard line. Looks like a very strange fitting connecting the two. Maybe they just pry apart? or does the fuel rail/hard line come out as an assembly?

I am at step #7 and I am wondering about the fuel rail/ hard line disconnect fitting. Will the fuel rail just pop off the hard line?

Post a picture of what you are looking at. Haven't worked on one of those in 10 years.

That part doesn’t come apart.
Fuel rail/hard line comes out as an assembly.
