After three lng years i have finally intalled a 1987 Mercruiser 3.0 in place of my 1999 Bayliner Capri 1850CS mercruier 3.0 thats been seized since 2004. I ended up taking the srong running 3.0 from te Cavilier CC boat and installing the 99 3.0 electronic distributor on the points distriutor engine. Found out the flywheels are vry different. Few other odds and ends too? I Guess i am lookin for helpful hints and anyone wlling to point things out? I had its started with boat muffs an hose attached. If my computer worked betr i'd put more on here about it? For now this is it i wil restart my p and edit later.
