Are these rubber tilt and trim bushings OK to use?

They look rather beat up and the inner washers are out of shape.

Wouldn't be my first choice to reuse them, no. Why/how did they get that way?

Not a clue, that's how I found them. The engine and half of the out drive look very well treated. The other half of the outdrive looks jury-rigged. Any idea what the proper name or part numbers are for these parts so I can look into replacing them?

Been there, done that!!! Hours of frustration can be alleviated with a few moments on the keyboard in this forum!
