4.3 Intake rust

Well still working on this Chaparral 180. Trying to decide to remove intake and clean. I looked through the thermostat hole and cleaned the two water passages of rust. I am replacing manifold and risers but it looks like from the picture below that those are the only two water passages. I know on a 4.3 truck there are passages in front and back. Could someone confirm that the below picture is correct for my boat ser# 0M099909. Any input is appreciated.

Nope,... No, there's No passages in the back, they're Always blocked off like yer picture...

Bit OT, but what truck is that? I've pulled allot of intakes off 4.3L, and never have seen one with rear passages. I believe the passage would interfere with the distributor if there was one.

Only reason for the rear passages is to allow the heads to be installed on either bank of cylinders with out making the heads specifically R or L.
