What exact wires do I have to connect or bypass to eliminate the safety that only allows the boat to be started in neutral?

Cant tell if starter or interlock is the issue with it not starting.

It's called the neutral safety switch, it's on/in the throttle/shift control. Has two Yellow/red striped wires going to it. Just hook the two Y/R wires together as a temporary fix until you get a new switch if that is the problem
