I have an 1986 Thundercraft witha 470. I have the engine lifted to do the cam fix. I noticed the mount had four holes in the bottom of the mount. Can I put two lags in the empty holes? One of the lags was rotted. I was going to fill with epoxy . Overall mount seems sturdy.

like Bond-o said yes you can i only use two of the four holes for my 470 if you have wood rot you might have a problem down the road with the rest of the wood. if you have the time replace the whole wood if not then just make sure the two new holes are not rotten
