Hi all...
Out today and noted a couple of things:
1. Temp gauge reads around 190 when running around...but the water dist box/brass sender reads no higher than 160. Even after I took it out of the water, I checked the temps again. The temp gauge still reads around 190...but the highest temp I spot checked was 180 on the manifold. Brass sending unit read 155. Sea water injection temp is around 75 deg.
2. Tach reads accurate up to about 3k,(when doing tune up I compared it with phototach, both were +/- 50 RPM) then pegs out when going to WOT...once RPMs come back to below 3k...tach reads accurate again.
Any ideas?
