Coil resistance values...

Primary: 1.8 ohms(+ / -)
Secondary: 13K ohms(both pole/+ & pole/-)

The reason I ask, is that I've noticed it getting quite warm, and until a couple of days ago...it was running with 12v as opposed to the 6v it's supposed to. Don't know if there was any internal damage done.

Generally, if it works, it works... 12 volts won't have done any damage... As for running warm... They all do.... So would you if you have 30,000 Volts run through you... :D
