Having power trim issues. All of a sudden last Saturday when I took the boat out, the power trim up began to run continuously when I turned the key to the on position. I've had it out 6 times this year and never had a lick of problems with this system. It had sat for about two weeks prior to me taking it out and we were rained on heavily for a couple days just before I took it out. I've cleaned and sanded all connections. The power trim/tilt operates up and down normally as long as you don't turn the key to the on position. I also cleaned out the ignition key switch of any moisture I could get to but it made no difference. Don't know where to go from here. I think it may be something simple and related to all that rain we got. Any ideas

Strange. The tilt/trim is NOT wired to the keyswitch on MCM. You have a short somewhere. Purple wire is Key Switch Power. Start looking for where the this comes together with the blue (up) or green (down) wires.
