just purchased 2001 rinker 242 with 5.7 b3.on maiden voyage almost impoosible to back into slip as extremly difficult engageing reverse.after playing with buttom and using lot of force(i know thats not a good idea but as boat was drifting towards another in middle of marina anxiety started to set in).anyway could this be a problem with the actual shifter or possibly the cable.
