changing impeller on 89 3.0 mercruiser and the old imp stuck

can't get the old impeller off the shaft. Don't want to force anything and create a worse problem. Letting it set in WD40 right now, any tricks to help.

Last project before boat goes in the water.

If it's not moving at all, you may have to take a sharp chisel between the vanes of the impeller, and right over the key and split the impeller.
