05 Searay Sundeck Engine knocks at WOT

I have a 2005 Searay Sundeck 5.0 MPI 260 HP Engine runs great but when I run it wide open the engine knocks slightly. If i back off on the throttle a little the knock goes away. Any ideas???

I have an 05 Sea Ray Weekender w/same motor - what outdrive do you have?

I have a Bravo 3 and I thought I heard knocking at around 4300-4500rpm, backed off and it went away. It's just a different resonance is all. No issues. Cost me $180 to be told that.

I have a Bravo 3 also. I guess just let it go.

Was it a knock, or a ping, or maybe just a rattle of some sort.

Sounds are hard describe. What is a ping to me, may be a knock to you.
