Where can I find exploded views of mercruiser engines with the mercruiser parnumbers

Hi all I'm new to this forum and from the uk where parts for mercruisers are very expensive so you need to shop around ,
If I could find the mercruiser part numbers for what I want I can look on eBay etc and save a bomb does anyone no of a link that I can use that I can find part numbers and expoded views with proper mercuiser part numbers is for a 1989 5.7 alpha1 gen 2

It's either not a Gen II, or not 1989... Gen II started in 1991.... Post up serial numbers (engine, drive, transom housing) and we can check it... You'll need serial numbers to use the drawings for part numbers anyway, so might as well get them now...

Engine is 1988, 5.7L
Drive is also 1988, Alpha One, (But not Gen II)....

what parts are you looking for? buying parts for the longblock may be more expensive than buying the same parts from the auto parts store.
