l post reader thank for all your help its not overheating and water runs out nise it also starts. i got off from work and when to work on my motor. first i removed the spark plugs clean them and checked distri turn to number one rotor pointing number1 clean the the point dont have a dwell meter what i did was got a match book and it work crank motor nice and smooth reverse forward nice. one last trhing is when i shift to rev or forward the prop it like makes a clicking noise but it shifts. is that normal.
so its normal. yes when i shift i drop the rpm to change gears thats when it does it just about 3 or 4 clicks. thanks for the response you been helpful.
