Long story short thought I could remember how the carb linkage was set up when I rebuilt the carb so no pictures taken. Now I realize I can't remember 
Carb is 4 bbl Weber / Carter on 1995 4.3 LX
I need to know:
Does the vacuum pod (on left, looking at engine from front) pull the choke open or pull it closed?
There are two parts to the fast idle on the right side. I cant seem to get the flat steel piece (with all the cutouts) that is closest to the carb to do anything. Has something to do with taking off fast idle or choke release.
If anyone has pictures or reference to pictures for both sides, it would be much appreciated!
