Soon the motor and drive is going back in boat...
Original equipment is pre alpha Mercruiser 898 - tilt needs work...
I have gimball housing and tilt from 1996 v6 Mercruiser - stuffs in real nice shape.
What parts should I use to frankenstian the girl back together in the best possible way?

Ayuh,.... Ideally, you'd be puttin' in a Pre-91 housing,...

Or,... Franken in/ on the Alpha 1 Shiftin' linkages into the Gen.II housing, so's it becomes an Alpha 1, 'n not a Gen.II anymore..
