Hi there,

Looking in this great forum unfortunately i didn't find the solution for my problem:

I have a twin engine boat (2007, first owner) with a merc 5.0 TKS carburator, raw water pick-up (fresh water) and a bravo 2 drive with standard prop.
i often have a audible alarm on the sb machine if i drive more than 2500RPM.
sometimes it's just a very short beep, sometimes it takes seconds and doesn't stop till i stop the engine.
gear lube level is full, temperature is allways bewteen 170 and 175, oil pressure on low power 40psi, mid power 60psi an at wot 65/70psi.
Also, the motor runs fine, no strange sounds and the performance is okay.

i disconnected the blue/tan cable of the gear lube sensor, still alarm
also with the oil pressure sensor, still alarm
unfortunately i can not find the sensor of the thermostat, there only is a brown cable which goes to the temp indicator.

however, can i resume the problem is in the temp sensor? or what else can be the problem in the ccoling system?

hope you can help me

greetz newbe from Holland

PS, engine number is OW669213
