3.0 throttle and shifter cable adjustments.

i am looking for the adjustment procedure for the 3.0 with the valve cover mounted cables. all that im finding is for the side mount style. thats even in the manual #14 which is for my year. my controls feel very stiff after rebuilding the motor. thinking i mave have installed them wrong. . i put the drive back on the the boat without a problem and it slid right in without force. other thing i have done was replace the side panel with the shifter on it so its also possible i reinstalled that wrong too. wow im not giving myself much credit am i

The procedures are the same for all engines, it doesn't matter where the shift plate is located or what engine.
Just look at the examples in the manual to see where the cables from the helm and the drive connects.

Yeah i figured thats what i was going to have to do oh well just waiting for the days to get llonger thanks
