1974 Mercruiser 188 Drive Shaft & Exhaust Bellows Question

I just got a 1974 FiberForm (Monterey???) 19ft boat & trailer.
My husband & I were wondering the best maintenance & preservation of the Drive Shaft Bellows & Exhaust Bellows, including cleaning & treatment coatings on the rubber??

None necessary. Just replace them every 2-3 years (along with other regular maintenance for the sterndrive).

Dont leave the drive trimmed up any longer than necessary.

THANKS!! Looks like we will replace all before it gets put in the water. Know for sure that they haven't been replaced in the last 10-12 yrs! Appreciate your help.
